The Caxton x nimbl Story
From its humble beginnings to now helping the next generation with nimbl, Caxton continues to make sure money is working hard for families, travellers, and businesses across the UK.
From humble beginnings
Back in 2002, Rupert Lee-Browne saw a gap in financial services. He believed that people deserved better when making international payments.
With just a small amount of capital and a phone, he founded Caxton from his one-man office.
As more people experienced Caxton's great service and value, the word spread, and Rupert realised he would need to hire some of the industry's best people to keep up with the demand.
So the Caxton team grew
Rupert expanded his team, bringing on key players like Alana Parsons.
Spoiler alert!
Today, Alana is the driving force behind nimbl.
Caxton then started offering travel money cards and later expanded into payments and software, covering all sorts of financial needs for businesses.
With a dedicated, UK-based Customer Support team, Caxton has consistently delivered excellent service and support. In fact, over 5000 customers have raved about us on Trustpilot!
But something was missing...
Rupert and Alana felt a piece was missing from the Caxton family, and then along came nimbl—the pocket money card and app for children aged six and up.
Alana took the helm at nimbl, ensuring that kids' pocket money is put to good use—helping you learn how to manage it wisely and make smart spending decisions.
