Tips and Tricks this Father’s Day for our savvy savers

Our fun filled free ways to celebrate this Sunday

If your Dad is always treating you to bits and bobs throughout the year, now is the chance to say no more to spending – maybe instead it’s your turn to treat him!

But celebrating a special occasion doesn’t always have to be expensive, there are lots of free and low cost ways to show your appreciation to your Dad on Father’s Day.

We have listed a few below, so why not give them a go!

1. Make him a cup of tea

Small gestures go a long way and suprising your Dad with a nice cup of tea (and maybe a chocolate biscuit or two) is bound to put a smile on his face, so let him put his feet up and relax.

2. Turn into Picasso

Your personal art work could be the perfect missing piece from your Dad’s study walls, why not get out your crayons, sketch pad and paint and let your creative flare go wild!

3. Organise a picnic

With the weather set to be a scorcher for this weekend, spending some time outdoors is a great way to celebrate Father’s Day.

Leave the fancy dining for another day and organise a casual picnic with some nice sandwiches, crisps and other snacks and head to your Dad’s favourite outdoor spot or local park. Bringing the rounders kit along too will provide fun entertainment for the rest of the afternoon.

4. Help him out around the house

Does your Dad have a DIY list as long as his arm? He’s probably not alone… But with your help he could quickly fly through the list of jobs, so pop your hard hat on and get helping!

Spending valuable and quality time together is one of the most important things not just on Father’s day but throughout the year too.

We hope all our nimbl Dads have a fantastic Father’s Day
